“All Human Beings Are Created Equal”: March on Dover

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created
equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable
Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of
Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted
among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the
governed”

On January 15, 2013, Dr. Martin Luther King's actual birthday, we are
calling for revival and enlightenment on the most basic concepts in
American Democracy. We are asking that people accept this proposition
“that all human beings are created equal.”



  We came together in anger, suspicious deaths being ruled suicides,
an assault on another man being ignored by police. Elected officials
stared at us like we were speaking Farci and  reporters who will only
echo the 'official' story, even when they know it's a lie.

  A professor roughed up, arrested, fired and falsely charged for
exercising his first amendment rights. Injustice and righteous
indignation!

 Dr. Alveda King spoke to us. She reminded us that her uncle, Dr.
Martin Luther King, was a Christian first. He did not achieve what he
did with anger, but with love and faith that the best of human nature
is what our society should achieve for. Even in the spiritual realm,
he could not be silenced. Love is power too.



  Love is also the way out. We don't need to treat people differently
because of their social standing or the color of their skin. Yet we
do, because we have gotten away from what Dr. King taught us. Some of
us never learned! We seek to bring about King’s “Beloved Community
through non-violent protest. This is why we are marching in Delaware.

  Bigotry and hate can't exist when we accept the simple premise that
all human beings are created equal. This belief is the cornerstone of
our nation. What is the only possible outcome if we abandon that
principle?



 We will gather in Dover Delaware on January 15, 2013. Our hearts are
troubled; some of us are angry and afraid. Together we will remind
each other and the rest of the world that until all of us are equal,
no one is equal.

  We have come so far since Dr. Martin Luther King marched in
Birmingham and Selma. We still have not arrived. The struggle against
evil is eternal. Truth, light, and love are the weapons of choice in
this battle.




  Let's come together as individuals, people with their own concerns.
People who are afraid, angry, indignant. Let's turn that into
something positive. We will let the establishment know that we are
here and we will not tolerate injustice and we will spread the message
of love and hope that Dr. King so strongly believed in.

dismantling of the U.S. Constitution, Affirmative Action, police

brutality, strange fruit and much more…

Mississippi Civil Rights Workers Lynched!


The Mississippi Civil Rights Workers Murders involve the lynching of James Earl Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael “Mickey” Schwerner by white Mississippians during the American Civil Rights Movement.
On the night of June 21-22, 1964, Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner were threatened, intimidated, beaten, shot, and buried by members of the Mississippi White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, the Neshoba County’s Sheriff Office and the Philadelphia Police Department located in Philadelphia, Mississippi. After the largest and most televised search at the time, their bodies were found 44 days later in an earthen dam near the murder site.

Dr. King's thoughts on the planned March in Dover.



Dear Dr. Issa, Greetings to you and all of the participants of the MLK Day March taking place on January 15, in Dover, DE. My uncle, Dr. King was a man of God who loved the human race. Through his faith in God, his acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as his Savior, and his commitment to advancing the reality of a Beloved Community, Dr. King was able to share the love of God with the whole world. 


The year 2013 will mark several landmark anniversaries including 150 years since the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, 100 years since the formation of the Federal Reserve System, 50 years since the MLK I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH, and 40 years of legal abortion in America with the passage of Roe versus Wade. This will surely be a year of transition and there is a need for a deep spiritual awakening.

My friends, we are closer to being “free at last,” but we are not yet in the Promised Land. Let 2013 mark a season of enlightenment where change can ignite in every heart. Let this be a time when the reality of the beauty of natural life, natural marriage and natural family will no longer be considered a hopeless dream, but a reality of a promise of Divine Love and Grace.

Today as you celebrate the life and ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. please remember that he stood for love and for justice, for righteousness and peace. May God bless each and every one gathered.

Rev. Martin Luther Kings Jr's., Niece Alveda King has endorsed the March to DSU on 1/15/2013 in Dover DE at Best Buy's parking lot Hwy 13 at 10:00AM.
